Jean Isley Bevill

Reidsville: Jean Carol Isley Bevill, 84, passed away Wednesday January 17, 2018 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Fair Grove United Methodist Church at 2:30 PM with Rev. Alan Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will take place 30 minutes prior to the service in the church and after the burial in the fellowship hall. Jean was born in Guilford County on January 1, 1934 to the late, Samuel Isley and Lucille Ingle Isley. She loved her family, especially being a mother and grandmother. She was employed by Sears for over 40 years. Jean was a member of Fair Grove United Methodist Church. She was a very caring person and sacrificed greatly for others in her life. Along with her parents, Mrs. Bevill was preceded in death by her husband, Percy “Pete” Bevill; grandson, David Bradley Beville; sister, Aurelia Drewery. Mrs. Bevill is survived by her sons: David George Beville and wife, Janice of Reidsville and Bryan Bevill and wife, Cheri of Danville, KY; grandchildren: Brent Beville and Amber Marshall; and great grandchildren: Christian Beville and Tess Marshall; sister, Glenda Blalock; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Fair Grove United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 228, Brown Summit, NC 27214.
