Inez Brintle Apple

Inez Brintle Apple, age 93, departed this life on February 19th , 2021 at Alamance Health Care Center in Burlington, NC. She was born on May 2nd, 1927 to Ben and Dora Robertson Brintle, both deceased, in Caswell County, NC. Prior to becoming a resident at AHCC, Inez lived her entire life in the Cherry Grove Community of Caswell County. There with her beloved husband, Robert Junior Apple, deceased, she was a homemaker and a farm wife. Like many other women of her generation, she took great pride in life on the farm. Working in the fields, cooking delicious meals, {especially biscuits} and providing for her family was a way of life that she enormously enjoyed. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Delmar B. Apple and a grandson, Wes Apple. She is survived by a son, Larry Apple and wife, Pat; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church, located on Cherry Grove Road in Caswell Co., on Wednesday, February 24th , 2021 at 2:00 PM , with Elder David Underwood officiating. All who attend are asked to follow the COVID restrictions. Visits to Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville can occur on Tuesday, February 23rd , 2021 during regular business hours for viewing and signing the Guest Register. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff at AHCC for the care given and to the Hospice care givers for their kindness and expertise.
