Douglas "Doug" Wayne Hundley

Douglas Wayne Hundley, 59, of 571 Chandler Mill Road, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Saturday evening, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Doug was born in Rockingham County and worked for Asplundh Tree Company for over 20 years before being injured on the job. After his injury, Doug volunteered for Buttermilk Creek Outfitters. He was a faithful, hardworking family man and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid sportsman especially hunting. He loved his family and was a good provider. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wayne Hundley. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Adams Hundley of the home; daughters, Cynthia Gale Hundley of the home, Betty Jo Howell and Billie Jo Livingston both of Indiana; grandchildren, Virginia Ann Howell, Harlie Howell, L.J. Howell and Gracie Livingston; mother, Betty Jo Adams and husband, Jesse of Reidsville; brothers, Russell Hundley, Jesse “Doodle Bug” Adams and Robert Hundley; sisters, Brenda Mendoza and Angela Hundley; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Malinda and Randy Myers and a large extended family.
