My deepest sympathies to the family. My hearts breaks for your loss. Billie Jean was like a second mother to me early in my life. I spent many a night in her home spending time with my best friend, Sherry. On one particular weekend morning after spending the night, Billie Jean made pancakes for Sherry and myself. Those pancakes remain, to this day, the gold standard for all other pancakes. I still remember how delicious they were some 40 years later. Billie Jean was one of the best people I have ever known, she was a mentor, a friend and one of the best bakers I have ever met. I love her dearly. I know she will be missed terribly. I love you, Billie Jean.
