Billie Anne Adams McAlister

Billie Anne Adams McAlister, 88, of Reidsville, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Dave Huggins officiating. Due to COVID-19, the family request that masks be worn and social distancing practiced at the service. Billie was born in Madison Co., GA to the late George Curtis Adams and Merle Williams Adams. She was a member at First Baptist Church and worked for 37 years at First Federal Savings and Loan as a loan officer. She loved working in her yard and tending to her flowers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, M.E. “Mac” McAlister and a nephew, A.N. (Matt) Mattocks, III. She is survived by a sister, Georgia Wilder. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 409 S. Main Street, Reidsville, NC 27320 or Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
