Benjamin "Ben" Jett Wingfield

Benjamin “Ben” Jett Wingfield, Jr., 71, of 1065 Hampton Road, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. A funeral vigil and blessing will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2020 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Father Frank Seabo officiating. The family would like to encourage you to consider social distancing and wear a mask. There will be a burial at a later date in Maryland. Ben was a native of Baltimore, MD and the son of the late Benjamin and Marie Wingfield. He served in the US NAVY during the Vietnam War. Ben retired from Baltimore Gas & Electric with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed working outside mowing and raising chickens. He is survived by his wife, Carol Wingfield of the home; son, Ben Wingfield and wife, Pom; daughter, Crystal Armiger and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Jett, Gigi and Abby; sisters, Janice Ballman and husband, Gilbert and Claire Crist and husband, Paul; brother, Jeffrey Wingfield; “like a daughter”, Michelle Morral and husband, Chad and their children, Ashlyn and Chad, Jr. and a large extended family.
