Barbara Anne Jones Wilson Carter

Barbara Anne Jones Wilson Carter, 79, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Jacob’s Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 18, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Woods and Chris Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Lord’s House of Prayer Church cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will held Thursday evening, August 17, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 7:00 – 9:00 PM and other times at her home, 4241 NC Hwy 65. Mrs. Carter was a native of Rockingham County and the daughter of the late Cecil and Virgie Howerton Jones. She was a faithful member of Reidsville Freewill Baptist Church and retired from Unifi with over 48 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her interests included being outside with all of God’s creation especially enjoying her animals and flowers. Along with her parents, Mrs. Carter was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Wilson. Mrs. Carter is survived by her sons, Robert Wilson and wife, Linda and Ronald Wilson and wife, Lisa all of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Tony Wilson and wife, Jackie, Chris Wilson and wife, Allyson, Danielle Wilson and fiancé, Daren Zeller, Brian Cooper and wife, April, Hatcher Wilson, Aubre and Amber Kamphoff and Kiara Masquat; great grandchildren, Steven and Tyler Bateman, Ashley Wilson, Syler and Callyn Wilson, Hannah, Jackson, Remi and Henry Cooper and extended family.
