Andrew “Andy” Toler, Jr., 62, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 3:00pm with Dwayne Anders officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00pm, burial will immediately follow the service at Reidlawn Cemetery.
Andy was born on October 23, 1958 in Rockingham County, to the late Andrew and Sue Toler. He worked for the NC Department of Transportation for many years and later worked for Cayton Towing as a Tow Truck Driver. Andy enjoyed helping family and friends with anything they needed. He was a kind and caring man who would “give the shirt off his back and throw in the buttons for free” to anyone in need. Andy loved working in his garden, riding his tractor’s, driving his tow trucks, and anything connected with farming. He will be remembered as a loyal friend, caring family man, and a hardworking man who will be missed by all who knew him.
Andy is survived by his son, Little Andy Toler; sister’s, Rachel Gibbs, Nancy King, Janet Krites; brothers, Charles Toler, Danny Toler, John Wayne Toler, Steve Toler, Ernest Toler; many close friends and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.

To the Toler family. We wanted you all to know how sorry we are to hear about Andy's passing..he was such a great man who will dearly be missed, what a special man Andy was to us the DeLapp family and to many other people who knew him also. No one could have ask for a nicer and sweeter man than Andy was. May God be with you all during this difficult time and we are praying for all the family and friends that knew this great one of a kind man. May God bless you all. Andy Was One Of My Best Friends,We Had Lots Of Good Times Through The Years.He Was One Of The Nicest People You Could Meet Always A Kind Word A Joke To Bring A Laugh Or A Helping Hand If He Thought You Needed It.He Will Be Missed By Many
