Tonya Michelle Kennon, 38, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Tonya was born in Guilford County to Calvin and Eunice Grubbs Kennon and was a former employee with American Express. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Myrtle Grubbs and paternal grandparents, James Thomas and Lillian Ada Kennon. Survivors include her husband, John Berger; daughters, Isabella “Bella” Berger and Adelynn “Addie” Berger; father and mother, Calvin and Eunice Kennon; sister, Sandra Banner and husband, Keith; brother, Barry Kennon and fiancé Sherri Kennon. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 P.M on Wednesday evening at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her parents, 2280 Oregon Hill Road, Reidsville.
