Megan Elizabeth Cobb

Burlington: Megan Elizabeth Cobb, 29, passed away on August 21, 2017. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Grace Fellowship at South Park, 1863 South Park Drive, Reidsville, NC with Dr. John Marks officiating. The family will receive friends at her grandparent’s home (1309 Ridgewood Ave., Reidsville) following the service. The family will also be receiving friends at other times at Megan and Randy’s home, 3683 Brick Church Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or at Hugh and Judy Cobb’s home, 1309 Ridgewood Ave., Reidsville, NC 27320. Megan was born in Rockingham County and lived her life as a free spirit. She loved the outdoors and was always looking for an adventure. Her greatest passion was for all things living and she would go out of her way to rescue any animal that needed her attention. She was a source of strength for all of those around her. Megan will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Lucille Paquette. Megan is survived by her husband, Randy Riley of the home; her father, Hugh Cobb, III and wife, Joyce of Woodbury, TN; mother, Carole Barkley of AZ; mother-in-law, Penny Parker of Whitsett, NC; paternal grandparents, Hugh Cobb, Jr. and wife, Judy of Reidsville; uncle, Marc Cobb and wife, Debbie of Reidsville and a large extended family. Megan was passionate and caring for all animals from a very young age.
