Maria Rigolosi Rierson

Reidsville: Maria Rigolosi Rierson, 52, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Reidsville Christian Church with Pastor Matthew Jones officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall and other times at the home, 3514 Vance Street Ext. Born in Teaneck, NJ, Maria was the daughter of the late, Jerome and Beverly Rigolosi. She was a 15 year employee with the Greensboro Kidney Center where she served as the facility secretary. She was a loving wife and mother and was always proud of her sons. A passionate and avid sports fan, Maria especially enjoyed Boston Bruins hockey and Carolina Panthers football. She enjoyed baking cakes and cooking delicious meals. Maria a loving wife and mother is survived by her husband of 24 years, Wayne Rierson; her sons, Jarett Anthony Rierson, Ian Vestal Rierson and Joshua Wayne Rierson all of the home; sisters, Regina Martin and husband, Joe and Paula Pilkenton and husband, Terry all of Greensboro; brothers, Bobby Rigolosi of Greensboro and Gerald Rigolosi and wife, Janet of Crestview, FL; mother-in-law, Carolyn Rierson of Reidsville; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Reidsville Christian Church Building fund, 2020 South Park Drive, Reidsville, NC 27320.
