Madeline Key Andrews

Madeline Key Andrews, 96, passed away peacefully May 6, 2017 at her home in Greensboro, NC. Madeline was born July 1, 1920 in Greensboro and spent most of her life in the area. She loved working in her flower garden and always took great pride in the compliments she would receive from friends and neighbors. Madeline was retired from Belk Department Store with over 25 years of service. She was a lifetime member of Apple’s Chapel Christian Church in Gibsonville, NC. Madeline was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Harold Odell Andrews who passed away in 2002 at 82 years old. She is survived by her loving children, Don Andrews and wife, Sharon of Jacksonville, FL, Sandra Owen of Winston-Salem, NC; and Janet Andrews and husband, Peter Crossley of Enfield, CT. She is also survived by three grandsons; Darren and Brian Andrews and Brandon Maser and wife, Angie and their children, Katlyn and Landon. In her final years, Madeline was lovingly cared for by Jeannette Apple whose help is deeply appreciated by all the family. A graveside service for family and friends will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Apple’s Chapel Christian Church Cemetery in Gibsonville with Rev. Dave Johnson officiating.
