Junior Lee Stone

Reidsville: Junior Lee Stone, 82, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at Penn Nursing Center. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Sandy Cross Wesleyan Church, Reidsville with Rev. Mark Tolodziecki officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will follow afterward in the fellowship hall of the church. Junior was born in Rockingham County on July 10.1935 to the late James Arthur Stone and Myrtle Mae Stone. Mr. Stone never married but was a friend to all and never met a stranger and loved by all. Along with his parents, Junior was preceded in death by his sisters: Frances Hall, Helen Stone and Joann Stanley; and brothers: William Calhoun and James Stone. Mr. Stone is survived by his sisters: Peggy Purgason and husband, Joe of Reidsville and Louise Toler of Reidsville; brothers: Donald Stone and wife, Patti of Reidsville and Ronald Stone and wife, Dreama of Archdale; a special friend, Dovie Powell; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
