Joy Ann Lamberth

Reidsville: Joy Ann Lamberth, 85, of 1104 Walnut St., passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017, at home with her family by her side. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, July 7, 2017, at the Carter Family Cemetery with Pastor Paul Warrick officiating. Joy was born on January 7, 1932, in Rockingham County, to the late Robert Williams and Pearl Hurd Williams. She was of the Baptist faith and knew the words of the Lord. She was a dedicated wife and mother who took great care raising her family. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Paul Lamberth, her brothers, Howard, Thomas, Ted and C.B. Williams and her sisters, Ruby Harrison and Shirley Harris. Survivors include her husband, Paul Lamberth; her son, Christopher Todd Lamberth; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Lamberth; a brother, George Williams; a sister, Mary Lee Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Temple Church, 729 Wentworth St., Reidsville, NC 27320.
