Ann Dena Crumpton Gardner

Dena Crumpton Gardner, 84, of Reidsville, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Dr. John Marks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Robin Fain. Mrs. Gardner was born on November 7, 1933, in Caswell County to the late Mamie Apple and Gilbert Lee Crumpton. She was a member of Grace Fellowship at South Park, formerly First Congregational Christian Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Littleton Gardner, Sr.; daughters, Catherine G. Yount and Caroline G. Martin, and brother, Garland Crumpton. Survivors include her son, Mark Littleton Gardner, Jr. and wife Pam; daughter, Robin Gardner Fain; sons-in-law, John Yount and Randy Martin; grandchildren, Allison Jeffreys and husband Jody, Kurt Fain and wife Katie, Colt Fain, Hannah Yount, Leslie Chilton and husband Drew, Lucas Gardner and wife Lauren, Cassie French and husband Alex, Taylor Martin and Charley Martin; great grandchildren, Candace Fuqua, Annie Chilton, Claire Chilton, Ainsley Chilton, Morgan Chilton and Levi Gardner; brother, Gilbert Crumpton and sister, Carolyn C. Talley. The family would like to express a special thanks to Leslie Chilton and the staff at Chilton Family Care Home and the staff of Rockingham County Hospice.
